Oklahoma Ice Storm - December 3, 2007

I will never forget that night. It sounded like a war zone with guns going off all night long. We found out in the morning that that was the trees breaking. The next day, some people couldn’t even get out of their homes because of fallen trees. I will take a long time before our trees recover from this storm.

These photos were taken in Tulsa during the clean-up phase which is still happening in March. I heard on the news that they have picked up enough tree debris to fill up the new BOK Arena 2-1/2 times!
